Silver Falls Star Party

Join park staff, the Friends of Silver Falls, and volunteer astronomers from Salem’s Night Sky 45 astronomy club for a night of discovery in the dark! Telescopes will be available for viewing; bring a flashlight and a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. The event is free, but a daily parking permit is required at Silver Falls and can be purchased at the park.

The event may be cancelled in case of rain or overcast skies – a cancellation notice will be posted here in that case.
